From June 1 until July 6, fireworks by talented teams from Italy, Russia, Brazil, Belgium, Finland, China, the United Kingdom, and Vietnam, will paint the night sky in many colours. The theme of 2019 festival is “Stories by the river.”
Italy is the top winner with three titles, but let the best man… Uhm, we mean team, win.
Each team will have 20 to 22 minutes of performing at Han River Harbor. The two most outstanding teams will be chosen for the final night scheduled for July 6. And it is for fun but also for money. The winner gets 10,000 USD, trophy and certificate and the runner-up: 5,000 USD, trophy and certificate.
Do not miss this spectacle. Buy a ticket, pack your camera and enjoy it in the official area, with a drink in your hand on the terraces of many high Da Nang hotels and restaurants or for the romantic souls: buy a ticket for a river cruise.
This festival is being held from 2008 and in addition to the pyrotechnic parade, there are going to be: a street carnival, community music, and culture programmes and food festival. Organised for the first time ever, this festival held from June 2 to June 6 is a place to be if you are a foodie.
World-class chefs from 13 countries: the USA, Germany, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Australia, Mexico, Sweden, Lebanon, India, Greece, China, and Turkey will cook their traditional cuisine and connect it to local one as well.
The festival opens at 7:30 pm on June 2 at the East side of Dragon bridge, Tran Hung Dao street, Son Tra district, Da Nang city.
